PM: Economic recovery plan must be fulfilled until end of 2021
MOSCOW, May 28 (PRIME) – The Russian economic recovery plan for after the coronavirus restrictions are lifted must be fulfilled until the end of 2021, the government said in a statement issued on Thursday, citing Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
"The key goal is higher real income of the people, unemployment reduction, stable economic growth through introduction of modern technologies, the use of new labor market possibilities, development of exports and active import replacement," the statement read.
The plan contains about 500 measures divided into nine parts.
President Vladimir Putin earlier ordered to prepare a plan for recovery of the national economy after the virus restrictions are removed and present it by June 1.
